Welcome . . .
to The New England Institute For Infection
and Immunity information resource center for
patients with infection and immune system issues. This
site has a wealth of information not only for patients
and their families with chronic infections but also
with immune system abnormalities. We discuss immunity,
not only as it relates to age, but also the relationship
between the immune system and infections, cancer and
auto-immune diseases. We also discuss how to improve
your immune system and how this improved immune system
will affect your chances of avoiding diseases that we
accept today as inevitable. You will also find information
how to avoid secondary infections as an adjunct to immune
system support. This is important to patients who have
compromised immune systems because of age, either the
very young or the elderly, AIDS, chemotherapy or radiation
or those that have auto-immune diseases such as allergies,
asthma, IBS, Crohns and some forms of arthritis.

This site will allow you to post messages on topics
that are of interest to other users; you will be able
to ask the staff at The New England Institute
For Infection and Immunity questions on topics
discussed on the website or in our forum
section. You can also access links
to other sites with information and recommended reading
and review products
recommended by the Institute's staff. We will also post
Special
Reports with bibliographies as suggested additional
reading and Monthly
Medical Discussions. Be sure to subscribe to our
mailing list utilizing the box on the left.

The Director of the Institute is Dr. Robert Bogosian,
Ph.D. Dr. Bogosian has spent over 35 years in the fields
of microbiology, immunology and biotechnology. Dr. Bogosian
has received degrees from The University of Kentucky,
Long Island University and The State University of New
York, Down State Medical Center.
Dr. Bogosian is a member of The American
Society for Microbiology, The American Society for Reproductive
Immunology, The International Society for Cytokine and
Interferon Research and The International Society for
Infectious Diseases.

We hope that you will gain a wealth of information how
a healthy immune system will enhance your longevity
and how the avoidance of infections will lead to recovery
from a depressed immune system. We also hope you will
try the products recommended by the Institute. We know
you will benefit from them.
